Description

A comforting and easy Cheesy Kielbasa Hashbrown Casserole that warms up chilly nights, perfect for families.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • 1 pound smoked kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the sliced kielbasa until it gets a little color.
  3. In a large bowl, combine hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and browned kielbasa. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  5. Sprinkle extra cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on the edges.
  7. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding jalapeños for spice, or using different types of cheese such as Monterey jack or Swiss. Let it rest before serving for the best texture.
