Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, pre-cook the ground beef and onions until browned.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
- Add the cooked beef and onion mixture on top of the potatoes.
- Pour the can of diced tomatoes over the mixture.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes until the potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
