Description

Create colorful and customizable suncatchers for your windows using simple craft supplies. Perfect for both kids and adults!


Ingredients

  • Clear school glue
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolor paints
  • Plastic lid or clear plastic sheet
  • Toothpicks or paintbrushes
  • Optional: glitter, sequins, mini beads
  • Optional: string or suction cup hooks
  • Wax paper or parchment paper


Instructions

  1. Cover your surface with wax paper and lay out plastic lids or cut plastic sheets.
  2. Fill each lid with a generous amount of clear glue and tilt the lid to spread the glue evenly.
  3. Drop food coloring onto the glue and add glitter, sequins, or beads.
  4. Use toothpicks or paintbrushes to swirl colors and experiment with different patterns.
  5. Place the lid somewhere flat and let it dry for 24–72 hours.
  6. Gently peel the suncatcher out of the lid and trim any rough edges.
  7. Punch a hole at the top or use tape, then tie with string or ribbon or attach with a suction cup hook.

Notes

Store in a flat box lined with tissue paper to protect from dust and scratches. Experiment with colors and shapes for unique designs.
