Create colorful and customizable suncatchers for your windows using simple craft supplies. Perfect for both kids and adults!
Ingredients
- Clear school glue
- Food coloring or liquid watercolor paints
- Plastic lid or clear plastic sheet
- Toothpicks or paintbrushes
- Optional: glitter, sequins, mini beads
- Optional: string or suction cup hooks
- Wax paper or parchment paper
Instructions
- Cover your surface with wax paper and lay out plastic lids or cut plastic sheets.
- Fill each lid with a generous amount of clear glue and tilt the lid to spread the glue evenly.
- Drop food coloring onto the glue and add glitter, sequins, or beads.
- Use toothpicks or paintbrushes to swirl colors and experiment with different patterns.
- Place the lid somewhere flat and let it dry for 24–72 hours.
- Gently peel the suncatcher out of the lid and trim any rough edges.
- Punch a hole at the top or use tape, then tie with string or ribbon or attach with a suction cup hook.
Notes
Store in a flat box lined with tissue paper to protect from dust and scratches. Experiment with colors and shapes for unique designs.
