Description
A fun and engaging DIY project to create colorful and squishy aquarium-themed sensory gel balls.
Ingredients
- 4–6 clear balloons
- 2 cups fully hydrated water beads
- Glitter (blue, silver, iridescent)
- Tiny faux fish or sea creatures
- Optional: food coloring (blue or aqua)
- Optional: a few drops of clear hair gel or baby oil
Instructions
- Hydrate the water beads overnight or for at least 6 hours.
- Stretch each balloon by blowing it up once and letting the air out.
- Insert a funnel into the neck of the balloon and start adding a handful of hydrated water beads, a pinch of glitter, and a few tiny sea creatures.
- Optional: Add 1–2 teaspoons of hair gel or clear baby oil and a drop of food coloring.
- Remove the funnel, squeeze out air, tie the balloon securely, trim excess neck or decorate.
- Enjoy squeezing, rolling, and exploring your underwater world!
Notes
Store gel balls in a cool, dry place to keep them from drying out.
