Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, and lemon juice. Toss to coat and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and whisk together. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract; stir until just combined.
- Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Dollop the batter over the peaches evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the peaches bubble.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
