Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced into thick rounds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- In a bowl, season the sliced potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Fry the potatoes in the hot oil until golden and crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
- In another pan, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Add the sliced beef to the pan and stir-fry until browned.
- Add soy sauce, cornstarch, and the remaining black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the onions, garlic, and bell peppers. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Serve the beef mixture over the crispy potatoes.
Notes
You can customize the vegetables and use chicken or pork instead of beef if preferred.
