Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheese, flour, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well until the ingredients are combined.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil, flattening them slightly.
- Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
Notes
Best served hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
