Description

Delightful crispy fritters with a golden-brown exterior and warm, gooey cheese center, perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheese, flour, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well until the ingredients are combined.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil, flattening them slightly.
  4. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Notes

Best served hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
