A quick and easy creamy garlic shrimp dish that combines juicy shrimp with a rich, luscious sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet and mix until well coated in the creamy sauce.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Serve over pasta or rice, and sprinkle with fresh parsley for a nice touch.
