Description

A delightful dish combining the richness of Alfredo sauce, tender chicken, and vibrant broccoli for a comforting family meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Add the broccoli florets in the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the cooked chicken and stir for a couple of minutes to heat through.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  8. Serve warm and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken to save time. For a healthier option, substitute whole grain pasta.
