Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta until al dente, then drain and set it aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Season with onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in the beef broth, heavy cream, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let it simmer.
- Mix in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding cooked vegetables like bell peppers or spinach. You can also use different types of pasta or protein.
