Description

Fun and colorful decorations made from old crayons to brighten up windows.


Ingredients

  • Old crayons
  • Wax paper
  • Parchment paper


Instructions

  1. Preheat an iron on a low setting.
  2. Shave or break old crayons into small pieces.
  3. Place a piece of wax paper on a flat surface.
  4. Arrange crayon pieces on one half of the wax paper.
  5. Fold the wax paper over the crayon pieces and place a piece of parchment paper on top.
  6. Carefully press the hot iron onto the parchment paper until the crayons melt.
  7. Let it cool, then cut into star shapes.
  8. Hang on windows to create shiny sun catchers.

Notes

Use an old iron for melting crayons, and consider mixing colors for a vibrant look.
