A fun and creative craft project to make beautiful sun catchers using old crayons.
Ingredients
- Old crayons
- Wax paper
- Parchment paper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Remove the paper from the crayons and break them into small pieces.
- Place a piece of wax paper on a baking sheet.
- Scatter the crayon pieces on one layer of the wax paper, creating your desired pattern.
- Cover the crayon layer with another piece of wax paper.
- Place a sheet of parchment paper on top to protect the oven.
- Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the crayons melt together.
- Once melted, remove from the oven and let cool.
- Cut out star shapes after fully cooled to create your sun catchers.
- Hang them on windows to enjoy the colorful light display.
