Description

A fun and creative craft project to make beautiful sun catchers using old crayons.


Ingredients

  • Old crayons
  • Wax paper
  • Parchment paper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Remove the paper from the crayons and break them into small pieces.
  3. Place a piece of wax paper on a baking sheet.
  4. Scatter the crayon pieces on one layer of the wax paper, creating your desired pattern.
  5. Cover the crayon layer with another piece of wax paper.
  6. Place a sheet of parchment paper on top to protect the oven.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the crayons melt together.
  8. Once melted, remove from the oven and let cool.
  9. Cut out star shapes after fully cooled to create your sun catchers.
  10. Hang them on windows to enjoy the colorful light display.
