Description

Sweet, chewy treats made with shredded coconut and topped with a chocolate kiss.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Chocolate kisses for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Use a spoon or cookie scoop to form small mounds of the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes, then gently press a chocolate kiss into the center of each macaroon.
  6. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
