Description

This delightful Cloud-Soft Condensed Milk Bread offers a soft, fluffy texture with a rich sweetness, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • Extra melted butter and sweetened condensed milk for brushing


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, warm milk, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Add the softened butter and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
  6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  7. Place the loaf in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise again until it rises above the edge of the pan.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Brush the loaf with melted butter and sweetened condensed milk before baking.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  11. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

Store covered in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap tightly and freeze for up to 3 months.
