Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add chicken thighs or breasts to the skillet and sear on both sides until golden brown.
- Pour in the apple cider and add thyme and rosemary.
