Ingredients

  • Thick bread (brioche or challah)
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Cream cheese or Nutella
  • Cinnamon sugar (equal parts cinnamon and sugar)
  • Vanilla extract
  • Salt
  • Butter


Instructions

  1. Slice a pocket into each piece of thick bread for stuffing.
  2. Stuff with cream cheese or Nutella, but don’t overdo it.
  3. In a bowl, whip together eggs, a splash of milk, a dash of vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Dip each stuffed bread slice in the egg mixture for a couple of seconds on each side.
  5. Preheat a pan and add a dab of butter.
  6. Cook the stuffed bread until both sides are crisp and golden.
  7. Roll each piece in the cinnamon sugar mix immediately after cooking.
