Description

Delightful cookies combining the classic chocolate chip flavor with a fun twist shape, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup mini or regular chocolate chips
  • Extra chocolate chips for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Divide the dough into small portions, roll each into ropes, and twist them.
  8. Place the twisted cookies on the baking sheet and press extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Allow to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to three months.
