Description
A delightful dish combining creamy goodness with a spicy kick, featuring tender chicken breasts in a rich cheese sauce served over linguine pasta.
Ingredients
- 1 lb linguine pasta
- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and slice.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan, mozzarella, and cheddar cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the cheese sauce.
- Top with sliced chicken and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken in Cajun seasoning for a few hours before cooking. Use freshly grated cheese for a creamier sauce.
