Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 bag (28 oz) shoestring French fries
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup creamy sauce (such as ranch or cheese sauce)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: pickles, diced onions, and ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the French fries.
- Add the cooked ground beef on top of the fries.
- Spread half of the creamy sauce over the beef, then sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
- Repeat with the remaining fries, beef, sauce, and cheese until all ingredients are used.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot, topped with optional pickles, onions, and ketchup.
