Description

A delicious twist on the classic stuffed pasta dish, combining spicy Cajun flavors with creamy filling.


Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells
  • Rotisserie chicken
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Bell pepper
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Three cheese blend
  • Heavy cream
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Milk


Instructions

  1. Boil jumbo shells in heavily salted water for exactly 2 minutes less than package directions. Rinse with cold water after draining.
  2. Sauté onions and bell peppers until translucent. Add garlic at the end. Add chicken and Cajun seasoning; allow to warm.
  3. Cook butter and flour until slightly nutty. Whisk in heavy cream and other liquids slowly until thickened.
  4. Spoon the filling into the shells. Arrange shells in sauce with openings upward.
  5. Cover with foil for the first baking phase, then uncover to finish baking.

Notes

Garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor and color. Adjust Cajun seasoning according to taste.
