Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and keep warm.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and cook in the skillet for 3–4 minutes until pink and cooked through.
  5. Add lemon juice and the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the shrimp; they cook quickly. Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste. Fresh lemon juice brightens the flavors.
