Description

A delicious and quick dish that combines the bold flavors of Cajun cuisine with creamy pasta, perfect for busy weeknights or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Parmesan)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the onion and bell pepper until soft.
  4. Add garlic and diced chicken to the skillet. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, and cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring and simmering for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in shredded cheese until melted, then add the cooked pasta and toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.

Notes

Adjust the spice level with Cajun seasoning as per your preference. Garnish with fresh parsley or more cheese for serving.
