Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon bouillon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for about 3 minutes until onions are tender.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until it begins to wilt.
- Add the diced tomatoes, bouillon powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper.
- Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or oregano. This dish is also suitable for meal prep.
