Description
A fun twist on traditional nachos, layered in a Bundt pan for an impressive presentation.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 8 ounces block of Colby jack cheese, shredded
- 12 ounces bag of tortilla chips (Tostitos brand)
- Optional Garnish: Sour cream, diced tomatoes, chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F. Spray a Bundt pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, diced onion, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned, about 6-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the water and taco seasoning. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates, then remove from heat.
- Layer half of the shredded cheese in the bottom of the Bundt pan.
- Add half of the beef mixture and 1/3 of the tortilla chips.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining cheese, beef, and tortilla chips.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Invert the pan onto a plate and carefully remove the Bundt pan.
- Serve as-is or top with optional garnishes.
Notes
Make sure to drain the fat from the beef well to avoid soggy nachos. Customize with beans, corn, or other toppings.
