Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate
- 100g butter
- 200g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 100g walnuts (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking pan.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Once melted, let it cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy.
- Stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Sift in the flour and baking powder, and mix until combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts and vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
For best results, use quality dark chocolate. Avoid overmixing the batter for fudgier brownies.
