Description

A rich and fudgy brownie recipe enhanced with crunchy walnuts for an indulgent dessert.


Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 100g butter
  • 200g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100g walnuts (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking pan.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Once melted, let it cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until pale and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Sift in the flour and baking powder, and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts and vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

For best results, use quality dark chocolate. Avoid overmixing the batter for fudgier brownies.
