Description

Breaded lamb chops are a delicious dish combining rich lamb flavors with a crispy coating, perfect for family dinners and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1-2 pounds lamb chops
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for frying
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, dried herbs, lemon wedges


Instructions

  1. Pat the lamb chops dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, another with beaten egg, and the third with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and garlic.
  3. Dredge each chop in flour, dip in egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the lamb chops.
  5. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked to desired doneness.
  6. Drain excess oil on a paper towel-lined plate and let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serving with lemon juice adds a refreshing touch. Allow leftovers to cool and store in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
