Delicious Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls made with ripe bananas and cinnamon, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
Ingredients
- 3 Overripe bananas
- 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 4 oz Cream cheese
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 cups Flour
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- Optional: Chocolate chips or nuts
Instructions
- Activate the yeast: Warm milk to 110°F, add yeast and a pinch of sugar, let become foamy.
- Make the dough: Mix wet ingredients, gradually add flour, knead until smooth, let rise in a warm place.
- Fill and shape: Roll dough into a rectangle, spread filling, roll tightly, and cut into rolls.
- Second rise and bake: Place rolls in a pan, let rise until puffy, bake until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 190°F.
- For frosting: Mix cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar.
Notes
For best results, ensure bananas are very ripe. Option to add chocolate chips or nuts for extra flavor.
